  • Gregory Cook was born in 1621, in Rattlesden, Suffolk, England.1
  • He married Mary White on Monday, 25 Sep 1645.
  • Gregory was in Cambridge as early as 1665.
  • Gregory Cook was a cordwainer and shoemaker.
  • He was a selectman of Mendon in 1669 and 1670.2
  • He owned a farm of 112 acres between Angier's Corner and Watertown Bridge, situated partly in Watertown and partly in Newton.
  • His wife Mary died on 17 Aug 1681 in Watertown, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower.
  • Gregory Cook married Susanna Stowers on Saturday, 1 Nov 1681 in Watertown, Massachusetts.1
  • Gregory Cook died on 1 Jan 1690/91 in Watertown, Massachusetts.
  • Inventory of his estate was taken. His estate was administered by his son Stephen. Inventory £190.1.1.

  • Joseph Judson was born c 1619, in Kirby, Moorside, Yorkshire, England.1
  • He immigrated in 1634 to Concord, Massachusetts, with his parents.
  • He moved with the family William Judson and Grace Ann Porter in 1638 to in Stratford, Connecticut.1
  • His father moved to New Haven; however he remained in Stratford.2
  • Joseph Judson married Sarah Porter, daughter of John Porter and Anna White, on Monday, 24 Oct 1644 in Windsor, Connecticut.2
  • Joseph and Sarah lived in Stratford, Connecticut.
  • Joseph Judson was called Liuetenant.1
  • Joseph was a deputy from Stratford to CT Legislature Oct 1658, May & Oct 1659, Oct 1661, May & Oct 1662, 1663, May 1664, 1665, May & Oct 1666, May 1667. Ensign as of Oct 1663. Lieutenant Stratford Trainband Jun 1672. Capt. Fairfield County Troop May 1676 (King Philip's War) "if Capt. Selleck be disabled". Committee of defence, Jul 1665. One of 6 Stratford men who were granted permission Oct 1667 to purchase Potatuke, and was one of the 4 patentees of Pomperaug (Woodbury, CT) May 1672. Lieutenant Woodbury Trainband May 1684. Deputy from Woodbury to CT Legislature May & Oct 1684, 1685, 1686. Commissioner for Woodbury 1684-87, 1689.
  • He died on 8 Oct 1690 in Stratford, Connecticut.
  • He was buried at the Congregational Cemetery in Stratford, Connecticut.1
  • He left a will dated 27 Feb 1679/80. Bequests were made to his children: John £300, James £300, Sarah and Grace £10; Hannah, Ester, Ruth & Abigail (all not married) £50. John was the executor. Overseer - friends Zachary Walker, brother Jeremiah Judson, Mr. Joseph Hawley and Samuel Sherman Jr.
  • Inventory of his estate was taken on 28 Oct 1690 in Woodbury, Connecticut. Another inventory was taken in Stratford Connecticut on 6 Jan 1690/91.
