Also living with the household were Jacob Vandorstan age 22 laborer, Franklin Cahorn age 21 carpenter Van R Cahorn age 23 carpenter, Gutzlaff Shaeffer age 28 laborer and Cordelia Agacs age 24.4
  • Jonathan Safford Hanks appeared on the 1860 US Federal Census of Georgetown, El Dorado County, California, enumerated 23 Jul 1860.5
  • Jonathan and Calvin must have been living in a mining camp. Everyone in the census nearby were miners. Half the page is made of Chinese names, one word names.5
  • In 1867 Jonathan Safford Hanks was living in Donner Lake, California.6
  • Jonathan Safford Hanks appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Vallejo, Solano County, california, enumerated 30 Jun 1870, They are living in the household of J C O'Neil.7
