He was born in Diamond, Jan 11, 1913, the son of the late Virgil and Effie Wagner Cook. He was married to the former Lena Moore, Dec 27, 1947, at Titusville. He was formerly employed by the Struthers Wells Corp as a laborer. He has been disabled for the past seven years. He is survived by his wife and one daughter; a step-son; four step-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Lee (Gertrude) Geist of Meadville and Mrs Elmer (Elizabeth) King of Cranesville; two brothers, Howard Cook of Titusville, RD 4, and Homer Cook of Titusville, RD 5; and numerous nieces and nephews. One sister died previously. Friends may call at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home. The time of the funeral service will be announced.

She had suffered from heart trouble for some time. Besides the parents, she leaves the following brothers and sisters: Raymond, Howard, Homer, Gertrude and Betty. Funeral services will be conducted from the Diamond United Brethren church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with interment in the Diamond cemetery.

    Homer C. Cook, 90, of 352 Goodwin Road, Titusville, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at the Titusville Hospital.
    Born July 24, 1920, in Diamond, he was a son of the late Virgil Deloss and Effie Wagner Cook.
    Mr. Cook had been a dairy farmer and lumberman, having owned and operated a lumber mill prior to working for Cubbon Lumber, from which he retired.
    He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the Adult Bible Class.
    Mr. Cook had been a member of the local Home Organist's Club when it was active.
    He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and doing puzzles.
    On Nov. 19, 1941, he was married by the Rev. A.J. Kimmel to the former Hazel I. Sager, who survives.
    Also surviving are a daughter, Karen Cook of Titusville; a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" King of Albion; a sister-in-law, Doris Cook of Titusvile; and several nieces and nephews.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Cook and Howard Cook, and two sisters, Helen Cook and Gertrude Geist.

    Mrs. Ada M. Wagner, 72, of Cooperstown, RD 1 near Sunville, died at 4:40 p.m. Thursday in the Franklin Hospital following a one-week illness.

    Born on December 29, 1899, in Deckards, near Cochranton, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Sarah (Lulbolt) Deeter.

    On December 24, 1914, she was married to Homer Wagner who preceded her in death in 1962.

    She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Cooperstown.

    Surviving are one son, Clyde Wagner at home; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Norris of Harrisville; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

    In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Wayne, five sisters and three brothers.

    The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Horace D. Williams funeral Home in Chapmanville.

    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home's memorial chapel with Rev. Elwood Hannold, pastor of the Cooperstown Wesleyan Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Sunville Cemetery.

    Wayne Wagner, 39, of Sunville died in Franklin Hospital at 7:30 a.m. Sunday following a short illness.

    He was born in Sugarcreek Township Oct. 9, 1926, the son of Homer and Ada Deeter Wagner. He married Jean Noel on March 5, 1946, at Meadville. He served with the Medical Corps during World War II.

    Mr. Wager was employed as a welder for the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co.

    He is survived by his wife; his mother; two sons, Clyde and William Patterson, at home; a daughter, Diane Patterson, at home.

    Friends may call at the Williams Funeral Home in Chapmanville from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and attend the funeral service there at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. H.E. Robinson of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Cooperstown officiating.

    Interment will be in Sunville Cemetery.
