Elliott was an US Army officer and an author. He also was active in broadcasting, ranching, politics and business.³
The cause of his death was congestive heart failure.¹
He died on 27 October 1990 in Scottsdale, Arizona, at age 80.¹

She married Elliott Roosevelt, son of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt, on 16 January 1932.¹
Elizabeth and Elliott were divorced in 1933.²
She died in 1980 at age ~68.²
