• Marion Howard Brazier was born on 6 September 1850 in Charlestown, Massachusetts.¹
• She appeared on the 1860 US Federal Census of Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, enumerated on 6 September 1860, in the household of her father William Henry Brazier.²
• She graduated from Bunker Hill Grammar School, Boston, Massachusetts.³
• She was an accountant and cashier. After her health declined she moved to Santa Fe, NM, where she began writing.³
• She appeared on the 1870 US Federal Census of Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, enumerated on 27 July 1870, in the household of her parents David Sargent and Elizabeth. her grand-parents.⁴
• Marion Howard Brazier was a journalist, editor, author and clubwoman of Boston.^5,3
• She was the society editor of The Boston Post 1890-1898 and published the Patriotic Review 1898-1900. From 1903-1911 she was the society editor of the Boston Journal.^5,3
• Marion traveled the country, acting as special correspondent for many different papers, sometimes supplying 60-80 papers a week with an article.³
• She belonged to the following organizations: New England Woman's Press Association, Charity Club; Actors' Church Alliance, Daughters of Veterans, U S W V Auxiliary, Daughters of New Hampshire and of Massachusetts, Woman's Club House Corporation, and in the National Society DAR where she founded 2 chapters - Bunker Hill and Paul Jones. She was also the founder of the Parliamentary Law Club.³
• She appeared on the 1920 US Federal Census of 175 Dartmouth St, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, enumerated on 8 January 1920.⁵

• She wrote Stage and Screen in 1920 and John Paul Jones, founder of the American Navy in 1929, among other books.³

• She died on 16 January 1935 in Westborough, Massachusetts, at age 84.⁵
