Charlemont- Glenn F. Legate, 78, of Charlemont died Sunday evening at the Cushman Memorial Hospital, Framington. He was Born Aug. 3, 1901, in Charlemont, the son of Frank and Jane (Shippee) Legate. Legate attended Charlemont schools.

He is survived by a sister, Blanche Hunt, of Charlemont and a nephew. Services will be at graveside Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Leavitt Cemetery with the Rev. Victor Osborne, pastor of the Advent Christian Church, South Vernon, VT. officiating. There are no calling hours. Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, Shelburne Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
