AGE: 88 born in Freehold
William Edgar Jr., 88, of Nevada, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Odyssey Harbor House, Las Vegas, Nev. Born in Freehold, Mr. Edgar served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a maintenance supervisor with Geraldine L. Thompson Nursing Home in Allaire. William was one of 11 children.
Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, in 1969; and his former wife, Mary I. (Kling); his daughter and son in-law, Janet and Daniel Marriner, and also his stepdaughter, Deborah Kling. Surviving is his son, Robert W. Edgar and his wife Diane of Henderson, Nev.; two step children, Charles Kling of NH and James Kling and his wife Debra of NJ; six grandchildren, Stacey, Robert Jr., Spring, Tammy, Lauren, and Rachel; and five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Nolan, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Ryan.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals Debow Chapel, 150 West Veterans Highway, Jackson. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24 at the funeral home. Burial will follow to Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. ANNA MARION WEBSTER, 82, of Lakewood, died March 11 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood.
Born in Jackson, she lived there before moving to Lakewood in 1969. She was a seamstress for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union until her retirement in 1984.
She was predeceased by a brother, Jack Webster; and a sister, Virginia Pearce. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Matilda Webster of Lakewood, with whom she lived; one nephew; five nieces and numerous grand nephews and grand nieces. Interment was in Harmony Cemetery, Jackson.
