MRS. NORA STONE INMAN
Mrs Nora Inman, wife of William Inman, died at her home on Rock Hill on Saturday, April 8, 1911 after a period of long illness, which was borne with uncomplaining patience and true Christian fortitude.
Mrs. Inman, who would have reach her 46th birthday, April 30, was the daughter of Theodore and Abbie Stone. She was married to Wm. Inman 28 years last June, the union a happy one, she proving to be a true help-mate, and maintaining a well ordered household, exemplifying in her daily life, the religion she professed, she being a member of the Methodist Church in Jenningsville.
The funeral was held at the homestead on Monday last, the services conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. C. Wolcott, and the burial made in the North Flat Cemetery, the attendance at the obsequies being large, giving further evidence of the estimable character of the deceased.
Mrs Inman is survived by her husband, one daughter-an only child-Mrs. Rolla Farr of Rock Hill, her mother, Mrs. Geo. Grow of Jenningsville, two brothers Girand Stone of Sayre, and William Stone of Forkston, and one sister, Mrs. Silas Taylor of Jenningsville. Contributed by Carol Brotzman.
Mrs. Laura Samantha Inman Saylor, age 68, died Tuesday, September 2, 1941, at the home of her nephew, B.H. Burgess of Russell Hill. She was the widow of Frank Saylor. She was born at Jenningsville, Jan. 18, 1873, a daughter of Eber and Samantha Garey Inman. She was a member of the Jenningsville Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Tracy Farr of Laceyville and Mrs. Benjamin Stevens of Poland, NY and four sons: Wells of Laceyville, Sterl of Elmira, Blaine of Towanda and Leon of Tunkhannock, two sisters: Maude Burgess and Mrs. E.L. Place, both of Russell Hill and one brother, Charles Inman.
Funeral services were held Friday P.M. at the home of her son, Wells Saylor, of Laceyville, the Reverend Mark Krohler officiating. Burial in North Flat Cemetery.
