Barbara Chapman Hall passed away January 22, 2012 at the Kavanagh House in Des Moines. She was born on September 9, 1920 in Des Moines to Dr. and Mrs. Claude E. Chapman.

She attended Drake University and a business school in Texas. Barbara was married to Thomas Hall, Jr. and they had two daughters, Julia and Gloria. Barbara is survived by her daughters; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister, two husbands; one niece and one granddaughter.

Barbara loved her family, music, sewing, and cooking. She was passionate about her faith in Christ. She spent many hours of service in church. Barbara was an incredible wife and mother and dearly loved by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missions at First Federated Church. A memorial celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. Condolences may be directed to caldwellraddatz.com.
