Mrs Walter Vanderhoof, Mrs Maud Wagner Vanderhoof,65 of 201 Petit St. died at the Titusville Hospitail at 5:15 am Monday,after a long illness.
She was born August 27,1891 in Hydetown a daughter Iva and Mary Roberts Cornell. She married in Clymer N.Y.Oct 22,1907 to Otis Henry Wagner who died April 23 1949. On Nov 26,1951 she was married to Walter Vanderhoof.
Mrs Vanderhoof belonged to the Titusville Nazarene Church, besides her husband she leaves the following children Mrs Edith Brannon of Titusville RD 2,Leon Wagner of Titusville RD 3 Frank(Francis)Wagner and Henry Wagner of Transfer RD 1,Leroy Wagner of Spartansburgh,Kenneth Wagner Sharpsville RD 1 and Mrs Elizabeth VanEpps of Oil City RD 1. 25 grandchildren,6 great grandchildren, two brothers George Cornell of Titusville and Walllace Cornell of Gilson Ridge and one sister Eleanor Watson of Spartansburgh.
She also leaves the following step children Ted Vanderhoof,Howard Vanderhoof,Earl Vanderhoof of Corry,Albert Vanderhoof of Erie,Richard Vanderhoof of Orghard Park N.Y.,David Vanderhoof of Cleveland,Mrs Ethel Roberts Of Grand Valley and 17 step grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Tracy Home of Funerals where
services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday. Rev.Donald Woodruff will officate and buriel will be in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.1
Kenneth H.Wagner Sr. "Country Boy" was Korean War Vet, Steel Car retiree.
Kenneth H. Wagner Sr. of 8221 Lamor Road East Lackawanna Township, died at 6:35pm Tuesday, May 25,2004, in Countryside Convalescent Home. Mr Wagner was born June 1,1931, in Oil City to Otis and Maude Cornell Wagner. He attended Pleasantvill schools and retired in 1982 as a fitter from the former Greenville Steel Car Co. where he worked for 20 years.
A veteran of the Korean conflict, Mr Wagner served as a private in the Air Force. He was a Protestant. Mr Wagner loved Country music playing the Guitar, fishing, hunting, playing cards and working with wood. A past Predident of the Shenango Valley Alert CBers his handle was Country Boy.
His wife the former Norma J.Paddock, whom he married in Virginia, survives in Sharpsville. Also surviving are three daughters Cheryl Raniolo, Mercer, Andera Anderson, Greenville and Deborah Harper, Hubbard, four sons Daryl Paddock Sr., Sharpsville,Kenneth H.Wagner Jr., Randy Wagner and Reed Wagner, Greenville and 34 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Mr Wagner was proceeded in death by his parents, an infant son Kevin, two sisters Mrs Mary Elizabeth VanEpps and Edith Brannon and four brothers Henry,Francis,Leon and Leroy Wagner.

Services: Funeral services at 11am Saturday (5-29-2004) in the funeral home with Pastor Kent Bell of Bethel Life Worship Center, Hempfield Township officating. Leon E. Wagner, 75, of Oil City, died at 7:22 am, Friday, July 25, 2014, at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie. Born June 6, 1939 in Oil City, he was a son of the late Leroy D. and Annette Wood Wagner.
Leon worked as a chef for 43 years, and for the last 16 years as a caregiver. He as a member of the Living Word Church. Leon enjoyed going to yard sales, 2nd hand stores, collecting old things and cooking. He was always helping people.
Surviving are two sons, Robbie Wagner and Leon Wagner, both of Oil City; one daughter, Annette Wagner of Oil City; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, John Wagner and wife Judy, and Alan Wagner, all of Oil City; one sisters, Bonnie Wagner of Oil City; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Wagner and Francis Wagner.
Family and friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 8 pm. Interment will be in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.2
