Brewer-Bangor: Jacqueline M. Kenney, 86, passed peacefully from this world to the next, April 26, 2014. She was born February 2, 1928 in Bangor, daughter of Hugh T. and Florence G. (Iott) Tracey. She was a graduate of Brewer High School, class of 1946.

Jackie married Frederic L. Kenney, April 23, 1949. She enjoyed being a stay at home mother raising her children until they started school. She then worked for Sylvania. In 1969 she and her husband, together with Merrill and Shirley Trask, opened T& K Seafood in Brewer. This they ran until 1986. After that she was a volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital for several years.

Surviving are two sons, Eric Kenney and his partner Kathy Maxsimic of Portland, Frederic “Ted” Kenney and his wife Linda of Glenburn; four grandchildren, Tammy (Kenney) Heidemann, Shaun , Eric and Marc Kenney; three great grandchildren; two great, great, grandchildren; one sister, Betty Tracey of Bangor; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband; sons, Mark and Donald, and four brothers, Hugh, Lawrence, Donald and Karl.

Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bangor. (Bangor Daily News 4/29/2014.)2

ORRINGTON - Donald T. Kenney, 49, died July 22, 2005, at his Orrington home. He was born Apr. 9, 1956, in Bangor, the son of Frederick and Jacqueline Kenney. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3177, Brewer, for 23 years. He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Kenney of Holden; his wife, Brenda (Nowell) Kenney, and son, Eric Kenney, both of Orrington; three brothers and their wives, Mark and Ginny Kenney of Orrington, Eric and Barbara Kenney of Cape Elizabeth, Frederick "Ted" and Linda Kenney of Glenburn; a special "sis", Linda and Ralph St. Louis of Orrington; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many special friends including, the Day Crew at the Eagles Club. He was predeceased by his father, Frederick Kenney. The family would like to thank Dr. Adam Lauer and New Hope Hospice for their care and understanding. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date. (Bangor Daily News 7/26/2005.)1
