Eva L. Reynolds, 92, formerly of Sandy Lake, passed away peacefully of natural causes at 12:45 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, in White Cliff Nursing Home, Greenville. Born Dec. 20, 1919, in Rocky Grove, Venango County, she was a daughter of John S. and Hattie E. Young Burk.
She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School. In her early years Mrs. Reynolds worked at the former Park Hotel of Franklin and at Klingensmith's Restaurant of Sandy Lake. She then retired from Polk Center after working many years in the dietary department.
Most of all she was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church and a supporting member of Donation Hill Community Bible Church, Cochranton. She enjoyed gardening, baking and spending time with her family.
Her husband, Marvin M. Reynolds, whom she married Aug. 5, 1938, preceded her in death Feb. 26, 1987.
Survivors include two daughters, Marlene R. Booher of Sandy Lake and Audine Minshull and her husband, Thomas, of Greenville; two sons, Marvin R. "Jumbo" Reynolds and his wife, Judy, and Jerry M. Reynolds and his wife, Linda, all of Sandy Lake; a daughter-in-law, Sherry M. Reynolds of Stoneboro; a son-in-law, Richard L. Booher of Sandy Lake; and 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Isabelle Shay of Rocky Grove and Lucy Lepley of Cochranton; and a brother, Leonard J. Burk and his wife, Donna, of Cochranton.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Arlo S. Reynolds; a great-grandson, Elijah Reynolds Zahorchak; three sisters, Margaretta Crawford, Esther Schell and Helen McCarty; and five brothers, Sherman, Glenn, Clifford, John "Jack" and Daniel Burk
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Scott A. Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin St., Stoneboro. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church, 3461 Sandy Lake-New Lebanon Road, Sandy Lake, with the Rev. Adam J. Rodgers, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake, Sandy Lake Township.

Obituary for Audine Faye (Reynolds) Minshull
Audine Faye (Reynolds) Minshull, 81 of Hall Shaft, Jackson Center, formerly of Greenville, passed away on December 26, 2020 at her home.
Audine was born in Sandy Lake on October 10, 1939 to the late Marvin Moore and Eva Leona (Burk) Reynolds.
She was a 1957 graduate of Lakeview High School and went to work as an editor at the Sandy Lake Breeze, as a teller for First National Bank of Mercer, a teacher’s aide at West Salem Elementary, and then became a homemaker for her family.
Audine married her beloved husband, Thomas R. Minshull on July 11, 1958, he preceded her in death on March 11, 2017.
Audine was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Greenville and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #110 of Stoneboro. She enjoyed collecting antiques and attending railroad industry events with her husband all across the country. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed hosting pool parties for them. She was an excellent cook and would never let someone leave her home hungry or empty handed. Audine loved her family and was very close with her dear nieces and nephews.
Audine is survived by her children, Tomi Nadine Matzel and husband Jeff of Greenville, and Dean Russell Minshull of Greenville, grandson Jeffrey T. Matzel and wife Tricia of Greenville, and one great-grandson on the way, siblings Marvin Ronald Reynolds and wife Judy of Stoneboro, and Marlene Louise Booher of Sandy Lake, sisters-in-law Linda Reynolds and Sherry Reynolds, both of Sandy Lake, former brother-in-law and close friend, Richard Booher of Sandy Lake, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Audine was preceded in death by her brothers; Arlo and Jerry Reynolds.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
There will be no public services as per Audine’s wishes.

Thomas R. Minshull
Thomas R. Minshull, Delaware Township (Greenville), passed away peacefully Saturday evening, March 11, 2017, at home with his family by his side following a short illness. He was 80.
Born May 4, 1936, in Hall Shaft, Jackson Center, he was a son of Frederick and Lessie Jones Minshull.
Tom was a 1954 graduate of the former Stoneboro High School and a 1958 graduate of Grove City College with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He began his career working for Joy Manufacturing, Franklin, from 1958 to 1964, then moved on to Greenville Steel Car Co. and became the director of production engineering. He was there for over 30 years, working for Trinity Industries, and retired in 2001.
Tom was member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Greenville.
He was a 50-year member of Lake Lodge 434, Free and Accepted Masons, Sandy Lake, along with New Castle Consistory with Scottish Rites.
Tom was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was involved with the critical skills team.
Tom's favorite hobby was woodworking. He made cradles and hobby horses for all his family. He also loved to restore antiques and old furniture.
He loved being with his family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather and also had many friends and leaves behind his good friend Russell Long.
His wife, the former Audine F. Reynolds, whom he married July 11, 1958, survives at home. Also surviving are a daughter, Tomi N. Matzel and her husband Jeff; a son, Dean R. Minshull; and a grandson, Jeffrey T. Matzel and his companion Tricia Greaves, all Greenville; a brother, Allen "Jim" Minshull, Mercer; and many nieces and nephews-in-law and outlaws with his family and the Reynolds family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Anthony and Myrtle Symons; and three brothers, Herb, Bill and Elliott Minshull.

Arlo S. Reynolds of 284 Condit Road, Deer Creek Township, died peacefully at 11:18 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, in his home surrounded by his family and friends after a brief illness. He was 63. Mr. Reynolds was born Oct. 1, 1944, in Sandy Lake to Marvin M. and Eva L. Burke Reynolds. He was a 1962 graduate of Lakeview High School. Arlo worked at Sevenson Environmental Services of Niagara Falls, N.Y., for more than 20 years as a general superintendent. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam conflict era and belonged to American Legion Post 159, Mercer. Arlo loved hunting, fishing and trapping and was a member of National Trappers Association and a lifetime member of Pennsylvania Trappers Association. He also belonged to Furtakers of America; the Mississippi and New York Trappers associations; and St. Regis Falls Sportsman’s Club of New York. Arlo held a commercial instrument, land and sea pilot’s license and loved flying his 182 Cessna.
He leaves: two sons, Shane D. Reynolds and his wife Carrie, Sandy Lake; and Ensign Travis S. Reynolds, on active duty in the Navy assigned to Pensacola, Fla., and his wife Melissa; his mother, Eva, Sandy Lake; three grandchildren, Brentton Reynolds, Ashlee Reynolds and Farren Reynolds; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Audine) Minshull, Greenville; and Marlene Booher, Sandy Lake; two brothers, Marvin R. “Jumbo” Reynolds and his wife Judy; and Jerry M. Reynolds and his wife Linda, all Sandy Lake; and his former wife, Sherry M. Reynolds, Stoneboro. He was preceded in death by his father. Arrangements will be announced by Scott A. Jerry M. Reynolds of Sandy Lake passed away of natural causes at home surrounded by his family at 12:35 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013. He was 67.
Mr. Reynolds was born in Sandy Lake May 12, 1946, a son of Marvin M. and Eva L. Burk Reynolds.
He attended Lakeview High School. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1966.
Mr. Reynolds worked in the environmental cleanup industry and retired as an operations manager from Sevenson Environmental Services of Niagara Falls, N.Y., on Aug. 9, 1996. Prior to that, he worked for ECI Environmental, Roger AU and Geo-Con.
He was a member of the Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church.
Jerry loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time at his hunting camp; he loved to hunt, fish and trap. He enjoyed tinkering with old cars and going to car cruises.
He was a member of Reynolds Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7599; American Legion Post 919, Fairview Township; and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 83, Franklin.
Known as a very giving person, he shared many words of wisdom. He was a sponsor of the Tom & Jerry softball team in the Lakeview area for many years.
As a loving husband, father and grandfather, he leaves behind his loving family: his wife, the former Linda C. King, whom he married June 24, 1966; two daughters, Wendy R. Walter, Stoneboro; and Sonya L. Zahorchak and her husband Scott, Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Kindra Scott and her husband Shane, and Brady and Chandler Walter, all Stoneboro; Ian, Anna and Grace Zahorchak, all Pittsburgh; two great-grandchildren, Owen Reynolds and Jaidyn Scott, both Stoneboro; two sisters, Audine Minshull and her husband Thomas, Greenville; and Marlene L. Booher, Sandy Lake; a brother, Marvin R. "Jum" Reynolds and his wife Judy, Stoneboro; sisters-in-law, Sherry M. Reynolds, Stoneboro; and Deb Reeder and her husband John, Grove City; brothers-in-law, Richard L. Booher, Sandy Lake; Steve Knight and his wife Donna, Boyers; Don Knight and his wife Robin, Grove City; Richard Knight, Harrisville; Gary King and his wife Belinda, Fla.; and Rick King and his wife Donna, in Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Elijah Reynolds Zahorchak; and a brother, Arlo S. Reynolds.
