Pauline A. Hubbard was born in Copley, Summit Co., Ohio, Aug. 6, 1810[INCORRECT], and died of... pneumonia March 20, 1905, aged 64 yrs, 7 mos, 14 days. Her parents moved to Austinburg when she was a small child where she resided until December 25, 1861 when she was united in marriage with Levi P. Snow, living their entire married life in Dorset with the exception of three years that they lived in Cherry Valley. To this union were born two children, a son and a daughter, the son Fred, having died Aug. 30, 1894. She is survived by her aged husband and daughter, Mrs. Fred R. Strong of Jefferson, together with a host of friends to mourn her death. She was a kind and loving wife and mother. She was of a helpful nature and performed many acts of kindness that spoke in deeds rather than words of the sympathetic heart within. She was a member of the M.E. Church for about 45 years, living a true Christian life. For her text she chose the words of the 14th chapter of Mark and 8th verse, "She hath done what she could." The hymns sung were, "Our Heavenly Father knows" and "Jesus Lover of my Soul." The funeral was held at her late home Thursday Mar. 23 at 1 o'clock P.M., conducted by her pastor, Rev. Harford. Burial in Dorset Cemetery.
Charles H. Moore, 87, of Shillington, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016, at the Sanatoga Center in Pottstown.
He is the husband of Ruth E. (Stegeman) Moore. Born in Blairsville, he was the son of the late Norman F. and Florence (Biere) Moore.
Mr. Moore retired from the Keystone Drawn Steel Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons: Mark C., husband of Rebecca Moore, of Pottstown; Todd A. Moore, of Maryland; David L., husband of Stephanie Moore, of Elverson; and Richard R., husband of Candace Zieber, of Fleetwood. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Private graveside service for family members is on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at Mohnsville Cemetery, 10 Madison Street, Mohnton, PA 19540. Pastor Stephen Bowne is performing the service. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home of Mohnton.
