GRACE –MRS. MARTHA G. MORSE, 87, of Leroy, widow of Harry A. Morse passed away Friday, June 27, 1952. She was born Feb. 28, 1865, the daughter of Addison and Dimmis Knapp Grace of Springfield Township. After spending her early life in West Franklin she married and came to Leroy where she since resided. Mr. and Mrs. Morse were married 54 years.
Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dimmis Bailey of Leroy and Mrs. Grace Loyd of Canton, two sons, Stanley of Leroy and Burr of West Leroy, one sister, Mrs. Mark Chamberlain, Bentley Creek, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Morse Funeral Home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with the Rev. H. Lois Hewitt officiating and burial in Leroy Cemetery.

TROTT - VAN NOY (1942) Mrs. Virginia FANNING TROTT and Russell T. VAN NOY were married last Saturday evening, January 17, 1942 in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh FANNING, Elmira Street. The ceremony was performed at 8:30 p.m. beneath an arch of greenery and gladioli. The Rev. Don BOYD officiated. The bride was very charming in blue and wore a corsage of yellow roses. She was attended by Mrs. Gerald VICKERY, who wore lighter blue and red roses. Budd MITCHELL was Mr. VAN NOY's groomsman. Following the ceremony, buffet refreshments were served. The bride and groom spent the week end in Rochester. Mrs. VAN NOY has been a popular employee of the First National Bank. Mr. VAN NOY is manager of the American Stores here. They will reside on the VAN NOY farm near East Troy.
