"The youngest brother Charlie lived out here in Oregon from 1938 until he died. Three of his 4 children also live here. Don't know their ages but they are Grace Williams, Luella (Lue) McCurdy, Ralph Marden and Ted Marden. Ted is married (no children) and lived in the midwest. Ralph is the youngest and never married and lives with Grace at 327 S. 10th, Redmond, Ore. 97756. Lue lives in Salome, AZ PO Box 76, 85348 now. She has one son, Charles Blake and Grace has 4 boys and one girl, all here in the Willamette Valley.

MARDEN, Frances M. - 1220 S. Belsay Rd., age 62, died June 16, 1976, at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday at Eastgate Baptist Church, 4226 E. Atherton Rd., Rev. Charles E. Raley officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Marden will lie in state at Reigle Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 2417 S. Saginaw St. Mrs. Marden was born in Sidnaw, Michigan, May 6, 1914. She was a member of Eastgate Baptist Church, and she had been employed by AC Spark Plug Division for 21 years, retiring in 1971. Surviving are: husband, Richard F.; 3 brothers Alton Estes of Traverse City, Arthur Estes of Detroit, and Clifford Estes of Roseville; sister-in-law, Mrs. Ellie Wolf of Tipton, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.

Former Corvallis resident Ralph L. Marden died of cancer Thursday, Sept. 2 in Bend. He was 89.
He was born in Nowlin, S.D., to Charles H. and Ethel Adell (Buck) Marden. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He worked as a handyman and had lived in Corvallis for 10 years prior to moving to the Bend/Redmond area. He enjoyed traveling and fishing. Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Daryl Pankalla of Philomath, Pat Williams of Redmond, L. P. Williams of Eugene, and Ray Williams of Storm Lake, Iowa. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Private services will be held.
