Moses King

• Moses King was born on 20 November 1706 in Northampton, Massachusetts.
• Moses lived in Westfield, Massachusetts.
• He married Esther Noble, daughter of Matthew Noble and Hannah Dewey, on 12 November 1730.
• About 1731 Moses moved with his father from Westfield to Great Barrington. In 1733 he bought property. Moses kept a tavern in Great Barrington until 1742 when on account of "financial embarassment" the property went to other members of the King family and Moses went to live on the other side of the river. On Jul 6 1733 Moses and Esther gave a deed of land to a Mrs. Lawton that had been formerly owned by his father.
• Moses King died about 1751 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, at age ~45.
