GEORGETOWN — Mildred G. Hart, 93, of Georgetown, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman.
She was born May 6, 1912, in Carrier Mills, the daughter of Claude and Maude Gibson, and later raised by her loving grandparents, Joe and Francis Mitchell. All four preceded Mildred in death.
Mildred was united in marriage to the late Frank Hart in 1936. He preceded her in death in April 1946.
Mildred was a loving homemaker and is survived by her three children, Fred Hart of Cayuga, Ind., Mildred (Ray) Land of Georgetown and Kathleen Hall of Danville; her sister, Louise Berardinelli of Clinton, Ind.; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all.
One son, Jack Hart, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hart was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Parish in Georgetown, and was a 35-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Georgetown. Her favorite pastimes were completing crossword puzzles, playing card games and reading. Being with her family was her great-est joy. She will always be remem-bered for her love and kindness to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her kindness touched the lives of many.
A celebration of Mrs. Mildred Hart’s life is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at Sunset’s Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West St., Georgetown. The Rev. John Paninski will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be at the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at the funeral home.
