IN LOVING MEMORY OF DONALD H HATCH
Rev Ron Holland conducted the services for Mr Hatch who passed away Monday at his home. He was the son of Ethel Shurtleff & Roscoe Hatch.
He was married to Ruby L Miller 25 Jan 1939. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter E J Adams Shawnee; brothers Glenn & Gene Hatch; & 2 grkids.
Mr. Hatch was a department superintendent at Beal Inc. before he retired. He lived in Topeka from 1946 - 1954 when he moved to Shawnee. Mr. Hatch was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lenexa.

Mrs Hatch passed away Saturday in her home. She was the daughter of the late Josephine Wilson & Albert Miller. On 25 Jan 1939 she married the late Donald Hatch.
Surviving are daughter E J Adams w/husband Caleb, Golden; grandchildren: Juli Rasmussen w/husband David of Redmond, WA, & Jeff Dalin of KC, KS; great-grandchildren, Annika & Dahlia Rasmussen.
Mrs Hatch grew up, receiving her education in Rossville, where she graduated from high school in 1929. After their marriage in 1939, she & her husband lived in Denver, CO until they returned to KS in 1946. They lived near Dover until 1954 when they moved to Lenexa, & then to Shawnee in 1967, where she lived until 2008 when she moved to Holiday Island to be near her daughter. Mrs Hatch was employed by King Radio for 20 years. She was a member of All Faith United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock, a 60-year member of the Ideal Homemakers KSU extension club, & a charter member of the Garden Club of Shawnee. She enjoyed square dancing, traveling, an avid gardener & especially loved raising African Violets.
