William F. "Bill" Schnulle, 78, of Potomac, formerly of St. Charles, passed away at 11:45p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2002 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Bill was born January 14, 1924 in St. Charles the son of the late William E. and Winifred E. (Burdette) Schnulle. Bill married Dorothy Elizabeth Moore Couch on May 12, 1973 in Aurora, she survives.
Also surviving, two sons, Stephen (Cathy) Schnulle and Jeff (Sheila) Schnulle both of Aurora; one daughter, Marry Ann (Al) Neitzel of St. Charles; one sister, Lucille Johnson of St. Charles; six grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Marjorie (Art) Maden of Potomac.
A sister, Mary Lou Zimmerman preceded Bill in death.
Bill was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Bill worked as an electrician for the city of St. Charles and also for Arkansas Tech University in Russellville Arkansas retiring. Bill and Dorothy lived in London, Arkansas retiring in 1986. Bill enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing and his dog Charlie. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post 428 in Potomac, the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Elks Club in Russellville, AR.
Funeral services 2:00p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834. The Rev. Gary Richardson will officiate. Burial Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation 12:00 to 2:00p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Potomac Church of the Nazarene.
