Marriage record from 1917 also indicates that Dr. Benton was married three times, the first marriage ending with the death of his first wife, the second marriage ending in divorce on June 19, 1917.

Dorothy A Limes, 82 years, passed away Sunday in The Toledo Hospital.
She was the widow of the late Cloyce Limes. Surviving are her sons, Glenn and Lloyd, daughters, Mary Alice Hampshire, Dorothy Sniegowski, EmmaJean Spratt and Wilma Bailey; brother, William Benton; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchilren.
Friends may call at the Blanchard Bros Funeral Home, 1163 W Sylvania Ave at Lockwood from 3-9 PM Wednesday and 9AM to 1 PM Thursday where there will be a Service for Dorothy. Internment in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Bradner, OH.
Funeral services for Maryalice M. Hampshire, 76, of State Street, Fostoria, will be held at 11:00a.m., Wednesday at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Rev. Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria. Visitation will be held from 7 – 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hampshire died at 1:23p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2003 at Fostoria Community Hospital. She was born December 17, 1926 in Bradner to Cloyce B. and Dorothy A. (Benton) Limes. She married Frank J. Hampshire on December 9, 1945 in Risingsun, and he died August 26, 1998.
Surviving are three sons, Frank W. of Chesnee, S.C.; and Jeff and Mathew C., both of Fostoria; a daughter, Maryalice Hampshire, Fostoria; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Sniegowski, Toledo; and Wilma Bailey, in California; and a brother, Lloyd Limes in California. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert; two brothers, Glenn and Clifford Limes; and a sister Emma Jean Spratt.
Mrs. Hampshire was a homemaker. She was a 1945 graduate of Bradner High School. She was a member of Fostoria Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher.
