MOOERS Mr. John Wright Mooers, 81, passed away Wednesday June 5, 2013.
He was born December 4, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York and spent his childhood days in New England before moving to Central Florida in his teens. John graduated from the University of Florida Agriculture School, was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, graduated from The University of Florida Law School and New York University Graduate School of Law. He practiced Law and was a member of the Florida Bar for 54 years.
John is survived by his wife of 53 years: Emily McGiffin Mooers; their children: Richard, Virginia, Sara and Jim of Jacksonville; and his sister: Martha Day of Boca Raton.

David A Hopper, 64, accountant
Roxbury Twp - David A Hopper died yesterday at home following a long illness. He was 64.
Born in Melrose, Mass, he lived in Madison before moving to Succasunna in 1963
He was an accountant at Avis Rent-A-Car in Piscataway where he worked for 18 years before retiring in 1987. He worked at Lakeland Saving Bank from 1988-1884
He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1953.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Figel of 37 years; three sons, Charles A of Monnemouth Junction, Thomas D of Hackettstown, and Michael J of Antioch, Calif; a sister, Ann Senden of Louden, Tenn, and four grandchildren.
Arrangements are by davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home 96 Main St., Succasunna.
