H. W. Beal, 75, of Cohasset, Hub Architect. COHASSET — Horatio W. Beal, 74 of 40 Jerusalem rd., a Boston architect, died Wednesday at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a short illness. A graduate of Harvard College, class of 1911, and the Harvard School of Architecture in 1915, he was a member of the firm of J. Williams Beal Sons, Granger and Poskus, of Devonshire st. He was a member of the American Institute of Architects and in World War I served as an ensign in the Navy. Mr. Beal leaves a wife, Mildred M. (Greene); a son William of Cohasset; a daughter, Mrs. Mary D. Meyer of New Milford, N.J.; three brothers, John W. of Hanover, Robert W. of Wellesley, Gerald F. of New York City, and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Parish Unitarian Church, Cohasset. Rev. Roscoe E. Trueblood will officiate. Burial will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Norwell.” His death notice in the same paper mentioned that donations could be send to the Heart Fund.
