Leon Francis Bywater, 90, of Rupert, passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, in Burley.
He was born April 18, 1919 in Corinne, Utah to Alfred James and Frances Mikesell Bywater. He married Ruby June Goold on Nov. 27, 1940. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Mary Ann Mabey, Gary Bywater, Judy Mooso, Robert Bywater and Donald Bywater; 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Donald Ray Bywater, 62 passed away April 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Donald was born July 14, 1954 in Rupert, Idaho to Leon and Ruby Bywater. He was married to Kayelle Wilson on August 16, 1974 in the Ogden Temple.
He was born in Rupert and resided in Paul at the time of his death. Donald graduated from Minico High School in 1972 and attended Ricks College. He worked for Magic Valley Foods (Idahoan).
He started there at the age of 18 up until he retired. Don was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Mini-Cassia Umpire Association, and the Rupert Country Club. He loved having family parties, enjoyed golfing, softball, umpiring, referring and loved to watch his grandkids play ball.
He loved his friends and family and always enjoyed going to the movies. Donald is survived by his wife Kayelle Bywater, children Cheree Davis, Desiree Ann Fairchild, Justin Don Bywater, and Ryan Kay Bywater. He had 8 grandchildren, Jesse Tyrell Bywater of the U.S.
Army, Monique Naranjo, Mariah Naranjo, Trevor Naranjo, Paytan Fairchild, Breyden Fairchild, Talon Bywater, and Dane Bywater and one great grandchild Joshua Naranjo, brothers Robert (Alicia) Bywater, Gary Bywater, Clyde Maybe and Ray Mooso. He is preceded in death by his parents Leon and Ruby Bywater, his father in law Keith Wilson, 2 sisters Judy Mooso, Maryann Maybe and Marilyn Bywater and his son in law Corey Fairchild. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Paul LDS Stake Center..
Viewing for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church. Services will conclude with Burial in the Rupert Cemetery under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
Reed Goold 92, longtime Twin Falls resident and businessman, peacefully passed away Friday evening, May 22, 2009, at the Twin Falls Care Center.
He was born in Monroe, Utah to George Alfred Goold and Mary Geneva Hicks. He married Myrtle J. Beck in Pocatello on Sept. 11, 1937. She died in 1989.
He is survived by his three children, Gene (Cathy) Goold, Calvin (Shirley) Goold and Janet, all of Twin Falls; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Murray Goold of Rupert and Luella Burgess of Twin Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, two sisters, two granddaughters and one grandson.
Luella M. Burgess, 87, a longtime resident of Twin Falls ID, died on Tuesday July 2nd, 2013 after a long-time illness at Elie House Alternative Living & Therapeutic Farm.
Luella married Elmo Burgess on Dec 30, 1941 in Fallon, Nevada. They lived in Nevada until 1963, then moved back to Idaho. They owned the Magic Valley Mobile Homes and Marina in Twin Falls for many years.
Luella loved to look after and protect her sons, Ray, George and Ralph.
Her love for creation & animals was evident in the way she lived her life. A highlight in her life was the many fishing trips she made with her husband, Elmo, and her brother, Murray Goold and his wife, Betsy (now deceased.)
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and her husband, Elmo, of 60 years.
Luella is survived by her brother, Murray Goold; her sons, Ray, George and Ralph Burgess; seven grandchildren, Johnny, Penny, Butch, Becki, Irene, Susan and Sarah; and many great-grandchildren; Also her long time friend and sister-in-law, Rayola Curry and her family; and many nephews and nieces.
We would like to send a special thanks to Jordana Bryan & her staff for all the loving care that they gave to Luella. Also for all the kind and loving help that Mike Parke and his staff gave us.
Memorial donations may be given to the Twin Falls Humane Society, because of her love for animals, this would be her wish.
Her memorial service will be held on July 24th at 10:00AM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly RD. Twin Falls, ID.
