Edward A. Osgood, 69, died in his sleep sometime early this morning at the home of Mrs. Belle Reynolds, 2003 West 10th street.
County Attorney Louis A. Holmes said death was due to hardening of the arteries. He was called to investigate after Mrs. Reynolds found the aged man dead in his bed early this morning.
The only known surviving relatives are a step-son, Kenneth Wilson, of 1616 West Front street and a step-daughter, Mrs. Jessie Seeley, at Dayton, Ohio. His wife died two years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o-clock Saturday afternoon at the McIntyre mortuary. Friends may view the body at the mortuary.
