Her marriage to Nick was arranged in New York. She staued with George for a few months, and also traveled to Detroit visiting a friend. She found Nick through a matchmaker. She came in 1962-1964? Nick was retiring, he had owned a luncheonette, and wanted to go back to Cyprus. She was in her early 50s when she married. They sold the restaurant, and moved to Cyprus and married. His parents were still alive. They did not like her. She wanted to adopt Christopher as her own son because she was so old she could not have a son. She adopted Alexia. She inherited land from the (Haji)popolous, and from Nick's family.1
