When his mother died she left the house in Fairview to Laura, but she had to pay 1/3 of the value to her brother and sister. Gerald got angry and brought a lawsuit, claiming Laura had 'undue influence' on her mother in making the will. The case dragged on for two years, Laura had to pay them money and then it was finished.1
He died in 1990 in Raritan, New Jersey, at age ~68.1
