Obituary
In loving memory of Bill D. Goodman who passed away peacefully on November 23, 2023, with family by his side. Bill was born December 14, 1941, NE of Yukon, Oklahoma at the family farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Goodman and Lena Goodman and loving wife of 55 years CC Goodman and brother-in-law Phillip Stinchcomb.
Bill grew up working on the family farm with his sister Norma. He won many ribbons showing swine and was a member of the FFA. He graduated from Yukon High School in 1959 where he served as Senior Class President. He attended some college prior to his career of 35+ years in the Aviation industry.
Bill started performing comedy at the Mesquite Opry and went on to perform at the Garland Opry and was a regular performer at the Wylie Opry in Wylie, Texas where he was awarded Entertainer of the Year in 1998. He performed at numerous Opry's and special events and occasions all across the states of Texas and Oklahoma. He loved country and bluegrass music.
Bill is survived by his beloved sister Norma Stinchcomb; three sons Brian Goodman, Bruce Goodman and Brad Goodman; Amy Goodman; Grandchildren Shelby Goodman, Deven Shuler and wife Tiffany Shuler; Abby Goodman; Great Grandchildren; Caleb Green, Levi Shuler, Luke Shuler and Cason Green. Niece Phyllis Burright and husband Wayne Burright; Nephew Mark Stinchcomb and wife Robin Stinchcomb; As well as a host of loving cousins; Great nephews and nieces and numerous friends.
He was a truly loving man. He will be missed dearly.

BIOGRAPHY
Cecilia Romaine Johnson Goodman, age 73 of garland, Texas, was born June 14, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK, to Cecil Johnson and Melba Jo (Ridenour) Alcorn, and passed away August 11, 2016 in Garland, TX. Cecilia graduated as part of a very small class from Yukon High School in 1963, and she worked as a Customer Service Representative for 33 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bill Goodman; sons, Brian Goodman, Brad Goodman, Bruce Goodman; daughter-in-law, Amy Goodman; granddaughters, Shelby Goodman and fiancé, Dalton Green, Tiffany Shuler, Abby Goodman; grandson, Deven Shuler; great-great-grandsons, Caleb Green and Levi Shuler; sister-in-law, Norma Stinchcomb and husband, Phillip; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Cecil Johnson; mother, Melba Jo Alcorn; step-father, Bill Alcorn; aunts, Lois McClain and husband, Charlie, Virginia Stone; grandmother, Dulcie Ridenour; and grandfather, William Ridenour. The family will accept visitors at the Funeral Home Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00PM. Funeral Services will be held in Cecilia's Honor Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel, with Revered Glen Mize officiating. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Cecilia was born on June 14, 1943 and passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016.
Cecilia was a resident of Garland, Texas at the time of her passing.
Cecilia graduated as part of a very small class from Yukon High School in 1963.
She was married to Bill.
The family will ccept visitors at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held in Cecelia's honor Tuesday August 16 2016 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel with Glen Mize officiating.
