DEATH: BLANCHARD H. DIMICK

Blanchard H. Dimick, 90, of Kearns, returned home, May 24, 1993 to a joyous reunion with his family.
Born June 1, 1902 in Lakeshore, Utah, to David and Elisabeth Jones Dimick. Married Esther Josephine Maland, June 8, 1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He worked for AS&R and Kennecott for 40 years. As an active member of the LDS Church he served in many positions including bishop and as patriarch since 1945. He and his wife were temple workers in the Salt Lake Temple for 10 years. Through his kind and gentle nature he helped many people during his life. He had a great love for his family and was an inspiration to them.Survived by wife, Esther, Kearns; daughter, Lois Egan, West Valley; sons, Keith (Maxine), Magna; Boyce (LaRayne), Kearns; Merrill (Myrle), West Valley; 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon at the Kearns 1st Ward, 4575 West 5415 South. Friends may call Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 11-11:40 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
