  • From her husband's will Rebecca received very specific portions of her house: the north lower room in the new house with the chamber and garret over it, the north end of (another room), north side of the barn/beam over the kitchen fireplace, the kitchen chamber and north half. She was to have privileges of the kitchen fireplace for baking in the oven, washing, brewing and liberty to pass through the kitchen and outdoors for bringing in water and wood, liberty to pass on the stairs. Also she had the northeast part of the barn with privileges, land for a cowyard and field. In addition she had part of the millhouse, mill and press and land. Various parcels of land were hers, including an acre of orchard. The final portion was 1/3 part of the pew in the meeting house in Cambridge.1
  • On 10 December 1770 Rebecca married Samuel Carter.1
  • Rebecca Cutter died on 1 February 1797 in Arlington, Massachusetts, at age 84.1
  • She was buried in Arlington Burial Ground, Arlington, Massachusetts.1
