Robert Taylor Succumbs to Effects of Accidental Gunshot Wounds
Lehi, Utah, July 18 - City Marshal Robert Taylor, who was accidentally shot while out hunting rabbits two days ago, died last night at 9:15 from peritonitis. The effect of the shot received in his abdomen was to set up inflamation and he succumbed at the hour named.
Robert Taylor was born at Lehi, Dec. 20, 1871, and was the son of Taylor (sic). He married Agnes Giles of Springville April 13, 1902, and his wife, with two children, a boy and a girl, survive him. He was an efficient officer, a loving husband and father, and a well-respected citizen, and his untimely death will be regretted by a large circle of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the new tabernacle at 4:30 tomorrow.
