She married David Thomas McKee on 22 January 1872 in Manti, Utah.^1,3
In 1900 Rachel reported having 12 children, 9 of whom were living.⁴
David Thomas McKee and Rachel appeared on the 1900 US Federal Census of Lake Shore, Utah County, Utah, enumerated on 12 June 1900.⁴
David Thomas McKee and Rachel appeared on the 1910 US Federal Census of Eureka, Juab County, Utah, enumerated on 9 May 1910.⁵
She appeared on the 1920 US Federal Census of South 4th East, Springville, Utah County, Utah, enumerated on 7 January 1920, in the household of Nephi McKee, her son.⁶

My grandmother, Rachel, had HOT BREAD three times a day, seven days a week. She enjoyed going to the picture shows until her eyes became so blurry that she couldn't see with them. She would have Thomas Hutchinson 'who lived with her' read the newspaper. And sometimes when his ad-libing was rather amateur, she would get quite mad, and... poor Tom!

Granddad or grandmother, either one, talked very little.
