Velda Robertson Ostler, 78, of Springville, died February 17, 1991, at her home. She was born April 29, 1912, in Winter Quarters, Utah, to John O. and Caroline Nelson Robertson. She married George A. Ostler, December 27, 1937, in Provo.
She is survived by her husband of Springville; three daughters, Darlene McBroom, Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Max (Verna) Locke, Mrs. Earl (Laurel) Tuttle, both of Springville; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Grace Albert, Fern Fish, both East Carbon; Mrs. Joseph (Betty) Nay, Salt Lake City. Burial was February 20, 1991.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 3500 W. 18th St. in Eugene for Donald Clifford "Don" Ostler of Eugene. He died May 8 of a heart attack at age 81.
He was born June 22, 1924, in Alhambra, Calif., to Cliff and Irene Petersen Ostler. He married Betty Bradbury.
He served in the Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He had worked as a lithographer and, after retirement, as a courtesy clerk for Albertsons.
Survivors include four children, Judy Searle, Scott Ostler, Chris Ostler and Jean Baxter; a sister, Marie Marcus; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grand-children and three great-great-grandchildren.
