Lyman Maurice Watkins, 73, died June 19, 1993 at his home in Heber City.
Born November 22, 1919 in Midway, Utah to Henry Maurice and Persis Moars McKee Watkins. Married Nelda Lyrene Sweat August 11, 1938 in Center Creek, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Very active in the LDS Church, serving in many positions. Served a mission with his wife to Crown Point, New Mexico 1984-85. Active in temple work.
Always a loving husband, father and grandfather. His greatest love in life was his family, his home and his horses. He always took great care of these precious things to the very last, and left us all with so many wonderful memories and much love with his never-ending clever wit and humor.
Veteran of World War II, served with the First Marine Division.
Survived by his wife of Heber City; children: Lyman Dale Watkins, Taylorsville; Mrs. LaMar (Karen) Kinder, Daniels; Tom Sweat Watkins and Floyd Lynn Watkins, Mt. View, Wyoming; Mrs. LaMar (Marcyne) Jensen, Blaine Earl Watkins, and Mrs. Marland (Shelly) Johnson, Heber City; 33 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers and sisters: Alma Watkins and Ruth Mawhinney, Heber City; Ralph Watkins, Arizona; Wayne Watkins, Wendover; Ethel Giles, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services Tuesday, 1 p.m. at the Heber 6th Ward. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary, Monday, 6-8 p.m. and at the church Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial, Heber City Cemetery.

He was also preceded in death by his mother and father; three brothers; two sisters; and two great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children; Sherry Okeef, Ross Watkins, Lonna (Steve) Anderson, Kenny (Kellie) Robertson, Bonnie (Brad) Murphy, Larry Robertson, (Poncho) Danny Robertson; 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Mr. Walkins enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Wayne W. Watkins 1933 ~ 2008 Wayne W. Watkins passed away peacefully at home Dec. 17, 2008. He was born on April 8, 1933 in Midway, Utah to Henry and Percy Watkins. He married Betty Deon Carpenter in Heber, Utah who preceded him in death. Wayne enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and riding horses.
Wayne was preceded in death by his wife; mother and father; three brothers; two sisters; and two great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children Sherry Okeef, Ross Watkins, Lonna (Steve) Anderson, Kenny (Kellie) Robertson, Bonnie (Brad) Murphy, Larry Robertson, (Poncho) Danny Robertson; 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at the LDS Church in Wendover, Utah on Monday, December 22 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow. He will be laid to rest at the Wendover Cemetery.
