Obituary Condolences
Genevieve E. Dahl 1919 ~ 2005 Entered eternal rest Friday, November 18, 2005 at the age of 86. Genevieve was born march 21, 1919 at Park City, Utah. She married Charles Raymond Dahl June 29, 1940. Genevieve is survived by her four sons, Carl, Brian, Barry and Jim, and their families; and her brother, Ralph Frazier of Tooele, Utah. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray; her parents, John and Matilda Frazier, five brothers and three sisters. Genevieve was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was proud of her Scottish heritage and being a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Genny worked as a cook for the Utah Schools System in Bountiful, Utah when she retired. Following their retirements Genny and Ray relocated to Sacramento where they have lived for the past 20 years. Ray passed away in 2002 and Genny continued to live among family and friends. She enjoyed many outdoor family activities. Genny loved painting outdoor scenery and writing poetry. Genny's mild manner and good nature was inherited from her mother, Matilda and will be surely missed by all who knew her. A memorial service was held 2 p.m. Monday November 21, 2005 at North Sacramento Funeral Home.

WEST JORDAN, UT - Melvin Gene Welch, age 45, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001 in South Jordan, UT. Born Nov. 24, 1955 in Park City, UT the son of Delmo Gene & Carma May Ward Welch. He attended Park City High School, then served in the U.S. Navy.
Melvin's life long occupation was being a long-haul truck driver. As a favorite pastime he enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was hunting or fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Mary; three sons Melvin (Jennifer), Jeremy, Newley; three step-children William, Christopher, Shari; brothers Leon (Connie), Arlen (Deanna), and Calvin (Karla). He is preceded in death by both parents, and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, 11 A.M. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 So. 1700 Ea., Sandy, UT. Friends may call from 9:45-10:45 A.M. prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens. Arrangements in the care of Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, Heber City.
