Mr. Parker, age 54, passed away.
He was born the son of Gerald and Rosamond (Leach) Parker.
He grew up in Middletown Springs, Vermont and attended West Rutland High School.
He married Lisa Foley in 1988 and was one of the owners and operators of Parker Water Wells with his nephew and his two sons.
He enjoyed hunting with his children, camping, maple sugaring and spending time with his friends and family, but most importantly spending time with his beloved grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his mother of East Poultney; his wife of 28 years of East Poultney; his two sons; his daughter; his grandchildren; his siblings; and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also waiting on the arrival of his fourth grandchild in July.
He was predeceased by his Father Gerald Parker Sr. and his brother Gary Parker.
Services were held at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home, located at 266 Allen Avenue, Poultney, Vermont.
Funeral Services were held at the United Baptist Church of Poultney. The Reverend Todd Eaton officiated.
Burial was private.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home.
Oliver B. (OB) Welch, 88, of Kuna, ID died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at home of cancer. OB was born at home Oct. 29, 1917 in Sherburne, VT to Guy B. Welch and Hazel Johnson Welch. He worked for years as a driver for Gays Freight before being drafted into the Army June 1942. He served in the 57th Engineer Combat Battalion of Americal Division, and saw combat at Guadalcanal, Bougainville, and the Philippines. Also he served in Japan. After the war, he returned home to Vermont and married Florence E. Shedrick Feb. 19, 1948 in Grandville, N.Y. Shortly after, OB and "Flo" moved to Idaho in l950 where they lived in various parts of the state while OB worked on road construction until retirement. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 370. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Post 7019. OB was loved by all who knew him and maintained friendships for his lifetime. He loved to hunt and fish and travel and play cribbage and poker anytime of the day or night. He played cribbage daily with his best friend and bother-in-law Gene Partridge for years. He was always fun loving and enjoyed life. He lived a full life and his family enjoyed hearing all his stories of his brothers and him when they were young. OB will be missed by friends and family of all ages and clearly has set a great example for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
OB was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Welch and son Ted Welch and brother Orris Welch.
Survivors include his sister, Madeline Partridge and husband Gene; brothers, Ralph Welch and wife Kathy; Tommy Welch and wife Pat; daughters, Sandy Schiffman and husband Bill; Candace Laidlaw and husband Scott; five grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren Cuellar; and many nieces and nephews around the country.
Graveside services will be Feb. 24, 2006 at the Kuna Cemetery.

Candace went home to her Heavenly Father June 20, 2015 in her home, with family present.
Candace was born in Boise, Idaho January 13, 1954 as the middle child to Florence and Oliver Welch. She graduated from Capital High School and continued on to Boise State to achieve her nursing degree. She worked 31 years as an LPN.
Candace’s previous marriage to Norman Sielaff gave her three children: Jennifer Krause (Peter), Oliver Sielaff, and Ted Sielaff. She later married Scott Laidlaw on May 19, 1995; gaining three more children, Shad Laidlaw, Shannon Cuellar (Bob), and Sean Laidlaw.
Upon marrying Scott, they embarked on the adventure of beekeeping, taking them all around the country. They returned to her hometown of Kuna, Idaho after a stint in Washington to do what she did best; caring for her loved ones.
She had a special love of oil painting she passed on to her grandchildren. She had a natural talent for making people laugh and her sometimes risqué humor was contagious.
She is survived by her sister, Sandy Schiffman; her husband, Scott; her six children; 11 grandchildren; and beloved niece and nephew, Mollie Schiffman and Justin Schiffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and cherished brother, Teddy Welch.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, 10:00 a.m., at Ten Mile Community Church, 4440 Columbia Rd., Meridian, ID. Upon completion, there will be a procession to the graveside at Kuna Cemetery.
