Carol Ann Carpenter, daughter of the late Richard Gene and Helen Pearl (Roberts) Carpenter, passed away suddenly Monday, October 4, 2004 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital of Lewiston, NY. She was 53.

Loving mother of Earl Richard Roneker of the City of Tonawanda, NY; sister of William Lee Carpenter of Conroe, Texas, Kenneth Gene Carpenter of Niagara Falls, NY, Diane M. Stavins of Niagara Falls, NY, Suzanne L. Williams of Vidor, Texas; aunt of Deanna Allen of Sanborn, NY and nephews, William Jeffrey and Sean Payne, John Kelsey and Cody Carpenter. She was the sister of the late Richard John Carpenter.

Carol was a health care aide and enjoyed caring for the elderly. She was also an avid computer user and enjoyed contacting friends and relatives via the internet, although her biggest joy was the time she spent with her son Earl.

Friend may call Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow the visitation at 9 PM. The Deacon David Slish will officiate. Interment will be private in Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston, NY. Carol was an organ donor, therefore the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Upstate New York Transplant Services, 165 Genesee Street, Buffalo, NY 14203.
