Donna Loreen (Mosman) Wright, 60, of Derry, died peacefully Sept. 18, 2007 in her home.
Mrs. Wright was a life long resident of Derry, daughter of Anson and Virginia Mosman. She graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1965 and received her Bachelor of Education degree from Plymouth State College.
For 26 years, she taught first and second grade at Derry Village School. She was a highly dedicated teacher who worked tirelessly for each individual child.
A life member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Mrs. Wright served on numerous committees including audiovisual, outreach and nurture, and trustees. She was also a Sunday School teacher, a Superintendent, and a member of the United Methodist Women.
Active in Derry life, Mrs. Wright was a Brownie leader, a PTA President, a Mizpah Rebekah Lodge #15 member, a Historical Society member, a member of the Audubon Society, and a Frost Farm docent. She enjoyed sharing special time with her granddaughter, caring for the local wild life, photography, and reading.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Wright in 1981. She is survived by her son, Christopher Wright, and his wife Evon of Derry, daughter, Tamara Wright of Phoenix, AZ, granddaughter Cassandra Wright of Derry, her sister Gail Stoecker and her husband George of Windham, a cousin, Althea Lyons of Derry, nieces Keri-lynn Queen of Maine and Nikki Curran of Windham, and a large, supportive, extended family.
