Edith M. Woodley, 86, of Hillsgrove, passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 25, 1924, in Hillsgrove, a daughter of James W. and Maude E. Lewis Davis.
Edith was a member of the Lincoln Falls Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed reading, flowers, gardening and feeding birds.
She was predeceased by two husbands, Hebert King and William L. Woodley and a brother, Irvin Davis.
Edith is survived by four sons, Herbert L. (Karen) King Jr. of Forksville, William W. (Doris) King, David A. (Edna) King and Brett W. (Diane) King, all of Hillsgrove; two daughters, Carolyn (Steve) Daniel of Forksville and Linda Folmar (Bob) of Dushore; twenty grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Lincoln Falls Wesleyan Church, 406 Valley Drive, Forksville, Pa., with Rev. Ervin C. Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillsgrove Cemetery. Friends may call at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
