Richard L. Robinson, Sr. 71, of 90 South Road, Sullivan, NH died at his home on Sunday afternoon, September 5, 2010 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Keene, NH on August 24, 1939 the son of William J. and Oresia (Butler) Robinson, Sr.
He has been a resident of Sullivan, NH for most of his life and worked with his family on the family farm and at Robinson Brothers Slaughter House in Sullivan.
Dick's love was his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his oxen, and raising prize winning gladiolas in his flower garden, spending time at the Cheshire Fair watching horse and ox pulling, watching his children playing sports and participating at the Cheshire Fair.
He was predeceased by five brothers; John Robinson, Larry Robinson, Floyd Robinson, James Robinson, Ronald Robinson and four sisters; Marion Knox, Fern LaBlanc, Peggy Kelley, and Winifred Wilder.
Funeral services will be held in the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Sullivan Center Cemetery.
