• Charles Francis Burditt was born on 27 January 1837 in Wakefield, Massachusetts.¹
• He married Mary E Batchelder on 20 November 1860 in Reading, Massachusetts.¹
• In 1861 he joined the 16th MA Infantry Regiment, Co E as a Private and fought in the Civil War. He was in the 2 battles of Bull Runn, and Gettysburg.¹
• He died on 26 April 1864 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at age 27.¹
• The cause of his death was pneumonia.¹
