Biography

Lemuel Sanford was born on 16 December 1699 in Fairfield, Connecticut.¹
He married Rebecca Squire, daughter of Samuel Squire and Sarah Seeley, on 12 May 1730.
Lemuel and Rebecca lived in Redding, Connecticut.
In October 1739 Lemuel was an Ensign in the Redding Company. He was also Deacon of the Redding Church.
He died on 25 April 1780 in Redding, Connecticut, at age 80.
He was buried in Redding, Connecticut.

Will

Lemuel Sanford left a will dated on 7 March 1777 In his will he mentions his grandchildren. It seems all his daughters had died before him.
