Boyd Richard Dimick, 66, passed away at 3:15 a.m., October 15, 1994 in the Shock Trauma Unit at the LDS Hospital of a massive brain injury.
Born February 19, 1928 in Sunnyside, Carbon, Utah to Sylvan Lorenzo Dimick and Laura Ann Smith. Beloved husband of June Judd Dimick. Survived by three sons, Daniel R. (Toni) Dimick, Jared S. Dimick, Christopher A. (Lynda) Dimick, all of Salt Lake; three daughters, Sylvia A. (Marvin) Olsen, West Jordan; Vicki A. (Forest) King, Cupertino, Calif.; Debra M. Dimick, Salt Lake; also two sisters, Sylvia Dimick, Spanish Fork, Utah; and Donna Anding, Manhattan Beach, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Boyd served seven years in the Navy and worked 20 years for Utah Power and Light.
He loved his family very much.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 18, 10:00 a.m. at the Rose Park 9th Ward, 760 North 1200 West, with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment, Lake Hills Cemetery. Funeral directors, Deseret Mortuary.

DEATH: AVON R. DIMICK

Avon Reuben Dimick, age 72, died November 2, 1993 in a Price Hospital.
Born February 26, 1921 in Sunnyside, Utah, son of Earl and Adelaide Bertha Locke Dimick. Married Norma Lee Berry on April 6, 1941 in Helper, Utah. She died January 11, 1993. Member of the LDS Church. Life long resident of Carbon County. Retired conductor with D&RGW with 42 years service. Member Brotherhood of UTU. Avon was a man of his word and could always be counted on when needed. A master craftsman and perfectionist he remodeled his home and was always willing to help others with their projects. An avid fisherman he enjoyed typing his own flies. He greatly appreciated the outdoors and spent many hours camping with his wife and family. Sports meant a great deal to him, especially when his children or grandchildren where involved. Avon, was a good bowler and was a member of bowing leagues for many years. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the source of his greatest enjoyment. "We miss you grandpa".Survived by three sons and spouses: Kay and Jean Ann Dimick, Helper; Wayne and Rosalie Dimick, Helper; Ken and Gwynn Dimick, Beaufort, So. Carolina; also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Pat Dimick, Portland, Maine; Red and Lou Dimick, Helper. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Michael; and sister, Norma Jean.

HELPER-Longtime and proud resident of Helper, Kenneth Darwin Dimick, (affectionately known to all as “Red”) passed away Sept. 9, 2016 under the loving care of the staff at the Beehive Home of Price. He was born May 6, 1926 in Sunnyside, Utah to Earl and Adelaid Locke Dimick. Married the love of his life, Louise Skerl, Aug. 10, 1948 in Helper; she preceded him in death on Jan. 6, 2015 Funeral Mass was held, Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, 10 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper. Vigil service was held, Sunday evening, 7 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home where the family received friends at Mitchell’s Sunday and Monday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
Louise Dimick
HELPER- Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Louise Skerl Dimick, age 85, passed away peacefully January 6, 2015 in Price.
She was born August 20, 1929 in Mohrland, Utah to Joseph J. and Mary Feichko Skerl.
Married her high school sweetheart Kenneth “Red” Dimick August 10, 1948 in Helper, Utah.
Louise was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, SNPJ Lodge #689 and the Castle Country Quilting Guild. She loved knitting, crocheting and camping. Louise was loved dearly by everyone who’s lives she touched. She was a lifelong resident of Helper and graduated from Carbon High School. She worked for the Carbon School District lunch program at Helper Jr. High until her retirement. Louise loved spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by many.
Survived by her loving husband, Kenneth “Red” Darwin Dimick, Helper; daughters, Renee Saccomano, Helper; Debbie (Gordon) Small, Kemmerer, WY; sons, Kenneth Darwin ( Aimee) Dimick, Jr.; Lehi, Robert O. (Lisa) Dimick, Helper; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother,Henry (Delores) Skerl, Price.
Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Skerl; son-in-law, Alan C. Saccomano.
Funeral Mass, Friday, January 9, 2015, 10:00 a.m. St. Anthony Catholic Church, Helper.

Obituary for Betty Taylor. Wellington - Betty Taylor Dimick, age 71 died Tuesday, June 15, 1999 at her home in Wellington.
She was born Sept. 17, 1927 in Orangeville to Jared Leroy and Della Mae Cox Taylor. She married Lewis Aaron Dimick on Nov. 23, 1946 at her parent's home in Orangeville. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on Sept. 7, 1955. She was an active member of the LDS church and served all her life in its various auziliaries. She was an officer and member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Mom loved gardening, sewing, quilting, and doing embroidery work. All who knew her have received from her garden or her hand work. All of her children, grandchildren and great=grandchildren sleep under quilts she has lovingly stitched for them.
She is the mother of five children: two daughters and three sons. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn; and a granddaughter, Kami Bowman.
Funeral services will be held in the Wellington 1st/4th Ward LDS Chapel on Friday, June 18, 1 p.m. for those who wish to sign the register. Burial, Orangeville City Cemetery.
