Parker C. Wright died Thursday, October 3, 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor DeWitt Wright; sons and daughters in-law Larry Sr. and Dianne of Webster, NY, David and Becky of Saratoga, CA; daughter and son-in-law Judi O'Neil of Ithaca, NY and Nancy and Terry Powell of Shawnee, OK; 9 grandchildren; 1 sister Mrs. R.A. Weston of Mount Dora, FL, and nieces and nephews.
He is the son of, Clarance B. Wright and Aleine Caulkins Wright who preceded him in death.
He was retired from Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester NY. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Delray Beach, FL and served on the vestry at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Rochester, NY. He was also a member of the Mason's, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and a graduate of Cornell University and Clifton Springs High School.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 1996 at 1:30 P.M. at Christ Episcopal Church, Sodus Point, NY, with graveside services following at the Clifton Spring Cemetery, Clifton Springs, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sodus Bay Historical Society, 7600 Ontario Sodus Point, NY 14555.
Barbara DeYoe DeWitt, previously of Ambler, PA passed away on Feb. 9, 2006 at the Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center in Cohoes, NY from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
Wife of Bishop Robert DeWitt who was the Episcopal Bishop of Pennsylvania from 1966 to 1976, Bobbie was well known for her incredible grace in turbulent times, her devotion to her family, her garden in Ambler and her dedication to issues of social justice.
The DeWitt family wishes to thank the staff at the MDR Center for their superb care of their mother.

Lawrence Parker Wright Sr., 65, husband of Dianne Dirks Wright, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in Toledo, Ohio, he was a son of the late Parker Caulkins Wright and the late Eleanor DeWitt Wright.
Mr. Wright, formerly a longtime resident of Webster, N.Y., and Sodus Point, N.Y., was a retired grocer and officer in the UFCW Local No. 1.
Survivors besides his wife of Sumter include three children, Lawrence P. Wright Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Atlanta, Ga., Alison Carlisle and her husband, Edward, of Greenwood, and Danielle Mirabella and her husband, Seth, of Charleston; two granddaughters, Grace Carlisle and Lily Carlisle; one brother, David D. Wright of Athens, Ala.; two sisters, Judith O'Neil of Chester, Va., and Nancy Powell of Edmond, Okla.; a special aunt, Clara Weston of Tavarese, Fla.; and a number of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held later in Sodus Point. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 311, Columbia, SC 29104. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
