He married Ella Williams in 1883.¹
Samuel married; his wife died and he married a second wife in 1884. Today (2018) there are only 6 living direct descendants of Seabury and Eliza Tredwell, all descended from Samuel & his second wife.⁴
He died in 1917 at age ~90.⁴
