Martha Ellen Rose Lotz passed away October 29, 2010, at home with her family.
She was born January 12, 1927, to Albert Leo and LaVera Graves Rose. She was reared and educated in Lake Shore and Spanish Fork, Utah, where she graduated from Spanish Fork High School and LDS Seminary.
She worked at Stone Drug in the 60's and 70's, which she loved and enjoyed. She belonged to the American Legion, VFW, and Senior Citizens. She always looked forward to the Rose family reunion, where she could spend time with her family.
She married Arthur Lee Mories in 1946. They had five children: Pat Gavin, Ken (Julie) Mories, Wayne (Paula) Mories, Karen (Larry) Askan, Marie (Dennis) Gabbitas; later divorced.
She found her true love, George S. Lotz; they married in 1980. She had three stepchildren: Georgene (Kieth) Johnson, Bob (Dee) Lotz, Chuck (Carol) Lotz. She had many grandchildren, numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. They were a special part of her life.
She is survived by one brother, Dale Rose; two sisters: Alene Tanner and Dee Adams.
Preceded in death by four brothers: Lawrence Rose, Blair Rose, Ray Rose and Don Rose; one sister, Beth Creer; and a great-grandson, K.C. Ray Beath.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Noon at the Meadowlark 1st Ward, 870 East Canyon Road, Spanish Fork UT 84660. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening, November 2nd, from 7-9 p.m. at Walker Family Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, as well as on Wednesday at the church from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
