Wendy Hagan, age 57 of Rochester, passed away on October 12th, 2012 following a brave battle with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. She was diagnosed with cancer in June 2012, completed radiation, as well as several rounds of chemotherapy. Wendy suffered several complications related to her cancer diagnosis, which ultimately contributed to her passing.
Wendy was born in Wabasha, MN and moved to Rochester where she graduated from cosmetology school and worked as a barber for 39 years. Wendy met her husband Jack in Rochester, married in 1978, and started their family in 1982. Wendy was always known for her warm and inviting personality, touching many lives over the course of her own. She was an incredibly hard working person, both in her personal and professional life. Wendy will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and will always be remembered for her loving nature.
She is survived by her husband Jack, her daughters Kallie Amaral (Tony Amaral) and Nikki Brown (Mike Brown). She is remembered by her siblings John Mussell (Bee Mussell), Diane Doty (Dick Doty), Cheryl Hondlik (Jim Hondlik), Tom Mussell (Angie Mussell), and Cindy Hartert (Jerry Hartert).
She is preceded in death by her parents Larry and Dorothy Mussell, brothers Roger Mussell, Billy Mussell and sister Mary Jane Mussell.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Francis of Assisi. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
