David H. Eldredge, 59, of Caldwell, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at a Nampa hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
David was born July 17, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Mark H. and Thelma Eldredge. He joined the U.S. Navy in the early 60s. His grandchildren, Isabel and Gabriel brought joy and light into his life and they will be waiting for him at the gates of Disneyland. Golf was a favorite past time that he enjoyed for many years as well as fishing for golf balls in the ponds.
He is survived by his wife, Diane, of 37 years, of Caldwell; his parents, Mark and Thelma of Fernley, NV; daughter, Nikki and Jon Fowler of New York; a son, Mark and Rebekah of Smithfield, UT; granddaughter, Isabel; grandson, Gabriel; two brothers, Terry and Eileen of Winnemucca, NV and Reed and Sue of Fallon, NV; a sister, Jill and Roger B. Suess of Fernley, NV; and many nieces and nephews.
He will miss his best friend, Mike, (Alias Buttercup, Slim, Fatboy, Uncle Money Bags) Morrey, and the other friends he golfed with at Purple Sage.
