Priscilla Wakeman¹

• Priscilla Wakeman was born in 1610 in Bewdley, Worcester, England.¹
• She married Thomas Richards on 23 January 1630.¹
• Her husband Thomas Richards died leaving her a widow at age ~39.²
• Her husband Thomas died soon after they had moved to Hartford, and she brought up the children.
• In 1639/40 in Feb or Mar she was granted a few acres of land, and later she bought some more.
• She died in 1659 in Hartford, Connecticut, at age ~49.¹
• Inventory of her estate was taken on 12 June 1671 Her estate was distributed by Richard Butler and George Grave Jr. It was given to John Richards (son), Mary Peck of Milford (daughter), Thomas and Obadiah Richards (sons). They jointly agreed and stated that they attended to the will of the deceased as they understood it.¹
