Sarah W. Rollins MILTON Sarah W. Rollins, passed away at Radius Specialty Hospital, Quincy, on Monday, October 26, 2009. Born in Boston 85 years ago, Sarah resided most of her life in Milton. She graduated from Milton Academy in 1944, from Emmanuel College in 1948 and was employed for 18 years as a Librarian at the Milton Library.

The loving daughter of the late Wingate and Ruth (Whittier) Rollins, she is survived by her devoted sister, Anne Ranhoff of CT and many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles and James Rollins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church, Milton, Monday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Sunday 2 to 6 p.m. Interment in Milton Cemetery. Pomfret – Anne (Rollins) Ranhoff, of Jericho Rd., died Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Westview Health Care Center in Dayville. She is the loving wife of the late Per-Jan Ranhoff. Born in Milton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Wingate and Ruth (Whittier) Rollins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place in the Spring in Most Holy Trinity, 568 Pomfret Rd., Pomfret. Burial will follow in Abington Cemetery. Memorial donations in Anne’s memory may be made to P.A.W.S., P.O. Box 191, Eastford, CT 06242.
