Juanita is a daughter of Robert Ralph Sargent and Bulah Georgia Stillwell. She is one of eleven children. The family moved around quite a lot from Iowa to Missouri to Oklahoma and finally to Utah. Juanita married Donald Cecil Stapleton on February 11, 1951.

Born Nov. 3, 1919, passed away in her sleep Mar. 16, 2008.
She is survived by her loving son Davis L Sargent; eight grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren. From one acorn grew a forest! She is now with her beloved Don and Zina. May Jesus welcome her home with open arms!
Graveside services will be held Sat., March 22, 2008, 2 p.m., at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery, 2350 E. 1300 S., where friends and family may visit one hour prior to services.
Donald Ralph Sargent
1927 - 2012
Donald Ralph Sargent, age 85 of Springville, passed away of natural causes on Thursday, July 19, 2012. He was born to Ralph Robert and Georgia Beulah Stillwell Sargent in Perry, Oklahoma on January 19, 1927 and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Don served in the Army during WWII and was a true American Patriot. He moved to Utah in the late 1940's where he met and married Elfonda Johnson of Provo, Utah and was baptized into the LDS faith in 1957. Don worked at Geneva Steel in Orem for over 30 years.
Don had five children that were raised in Provo: John, Lisa, Larry, Todd & Karla. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He also loved cars, trains, boats, traveling, going out to eat, movies, lakes, rivers and the mountains.
He has moved on to a beautiful place with his loved ones in Heaven and will be dearly missed by those here until we all may meet again. To any and all that may remember him, we thank you from our hearts.
There will be a viewing held Tuesday, July 24th from 3 to 4 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville followed by Graveside services that will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 10 a.m. in the Provo City Cemetery.
MILLER – Mrs. Minnie L. Hain, Wessington resident, died Saturday at Prairie Center Home in Miller at the age of 91.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Reck Funeral Home with the Rev. James Smucker officiating. Interment will be in the Wessington Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Reck Funeral Home Monday afternoon and evening.
Minnie Croes was born May 5, 1884 north of Wessington to John and Barbara Croes. She married Maurice F. Crossman, May 16, 1902 in Wessington. They lived in the Wessington area and homesteaded in Dananaa, Mont. Her husband died in March 1918. She married Jacob Hain April 12, 1925, in Brookings. They resided in the Wessington area since that time. Mr. Hain died in 1955. Since June 1972 Mrs. Hain had been a resident of Prairie Center Home.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Marion Saylor, Sidney, Mont., Mrs. Charles (Rosalyn) Thacker, Costa Mesa, Calif., Mrs. Irma Dobler, Forsythe, Mont., Mrs. William (Myrtle) Miles, spearfish, and Mrs. Cap (Evelyn) Halen, Wessington; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, three brothers and three infant children.

Lead Daily Call newspaper, May 11, 1966 - "Ahmed Etem Dies; Rites in Deadwood.
A former resident of Deadwood, Ahmed Etem, died Monday night at Newport Beach, Calif., where he had been living for a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, Rose, and a son, Maurice.
Funeral services will be held in Deadwood, Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Wells Funeral Home Chapel."
Lead Daily Call, May 13, 1966 - "Rites Saturday For Ahmed Etem, Former Resident.
Funeral services for Ahmed Etem, a former Deadwood resident, will be conducted Saturday at the Wells Funeral Home, Deadwood. The Elks Lodge 508 will officiate at the final rites at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the family lot in the South Lead Cemetery.
Etem, who died Monday night in Newport Beach, Calif., was born in Turkey, April 26, 1885. He came to the United States as a young man, arriving in the Black Hills in 1909, and moving to Lead in 1911. In Belle Fourche he worked on the Orman Dam project.
He also worked three years for the Spearfish power plant. In 1923 he started a taxi service, then took over the Hudson Terraplane car agency which he operated for 25 years. The building which he erected in Deadwood is now known as the Veterans of Foreign Wars post home at 10 Pine Street.
He was married in 1928 to Rosalyn Crossman, in Wessington, who survives. He was preceded in death in 1935 by a daughter Zora, age 6.
Survivors in addition to his wife are a son, Maurice, Huntington Beach, Calif.; a granddaughter and a grandson, two adopted grandsons, and two nephews living in Turkey.
He left Deadwood on account of ill health in 1950 and lived in Long Beach and San Diego, Calif., before making his home in Newport Beach in 1956.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Deadwood, for many years.
Accompanying the body, which arrived in Deadwood Friday morning were Mrs. Etem and her daughter-in-law."

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in Deadwood for Ahmed Etem, former long-time Lead and Deadwood business man, who died Monday at Newport Beach, Calif.
The final rites were held at the Wells Funeral Home chapel and conducted by the Deadwood Lodge No. 508, B.P.O. Elks, D.O. Dillavou, Merle Caudle, Don Ondriesek, Dick Olsen, Carl Kubler and O.R. Whitelock.
The music was provided by Mrs. Robert Ruth who sang 'Beyond the Sunset' and 'There Is No Night There.'
Serving as pallbearers were Ernest Turner, Carlton O. Gorder, Martin W. Morris, Jeff Moye, John McColley and Wilson Simmons. All friends were considered honorary escort.
Interment was in the family lot in South Lead cemetery."
